GPS Collar - Bear 175

Through money raised via donations and purchases Protect This Park has funded the purchase of a GPS tracking collar for Bear 175 in the Sacred Valley of Kananaskis.

Bear 175 is one in a pair of Bear 139’s first cubs — both are daughters.

Since deployment the collar has acquired 535 locations up to today. Bear 175 has moved as far as the Sawmill area and mount Evan Thomas. Even a wee trip into BC. Most of the time she has been in the Peter Lougheed Park facility zone.
